Yes, we have an area in the park for those that wish to bring a picnic. We do however have great Kid’s Menus in both the Pinewood Grill and Foresters Cafe    for those looking to re-fuel with something warm and slightly more substantial.

You may come and go as you please throughout the day. You will receive a hand stamp at Reception when you check in, just show this stamp to one of the Reception staff to re-enter the park once you have collected your packed lunches.

During the Summer season, the larger ropes courses have height restrictions including those under 1.5m not permitted to go on RopeworX. Also, the minimum height requirement for Tarzan Trail is 1.1m. However, we now have a ropes course, called the Wee Monkey Trail, which is specifically aimed at those aged two years old and upwards. Other attractions available from the start of April that are aimed at the bigger kids include the Pinnacle and SkyDive, but there are plenty of other attractions for our younger adventurers, such as Dinosaur Kingdom, Butterfly House, Safari Ride-On Cars, Teeny Farm Ride, Mini Diggers, Kids Zone, Lost Labyrinth and Ant City

Participants must be at least 3 years old to enter NetworX and the Red Squirrel Trail. 

During the winter season, Dinosaur Kingdom, The Tropical Hot House, Ant City (must be 2 and up) and Kids Zone are suitable for under 3’s. 

The vast majority of the park is accessible with prams, pushchairs or wheelchairs. There is a good network of well maintained paths that will help you navigate around the park safely. Access to some of the attractions such as the Wild Water Coaster, high ropes-courses and the Forest Tower are not accessible with pushchairs and prams.

Absolutely! All those aged two and upwards can ride the Wild Water Coaster, provided that they are accompanied by an adult and are able to hold on to the handles provided.

We have a number of disabled parking spaces located immediately outside the main entrance. Visitors should proceed to the main Reception Building which is wheelchair accessible. If you’d like to reserve a free wheelchair for your visit then you can do so by calling us on 01479 841 613.

Those registered as disabled are required to purchase a day ticket, but an accompanying carer will get complimentary entry. Anyone that wishes to be admitted in the park for free as a carer will need to present proof that the person they are with requires their care. All acceptable forms of proofs are explained in the question below.

• Plus One Card issued to the visitor with a disability
• Attendance Allowance Book belonging to the visitor with a disability

• Letter from a medical professional on NHS headed paper for the visitor with a disability stating the need of a helper

Yes, we have a ‘Green Band’ system in place which is designed to help those with conditions that may make queuing difficult. The holder of a Green Band allows the holder and their supervisor to access selected attractions through an alternative entrance or reduced queueing process where available. It is designed to support individuals who may otherwise find queuing extremely difficult due to a disability or additional support needs.

If you would benefit from one of these passes, then please read more about the Green Band System before requesting one upon arrival at reception.

Anyone over the age of 75 is also entitled to a complimentary ticket. We also offer a slightly discounted rate for seniors (65+). We aren’t however offering any additional discounts for those with limited mobility. We do however allow accompanying carers free entry into the park. See FAQs above for more details.

Yes, all dogs are welcome at Landmark provided that they are kept on a lead and under close control at all times. For safety reasons, dogs are not able to accompany visitors onto the rides.

Due to the nature of the environment and animals inside the Butterfly House, all pets are strictly prohibited in this area. Please note that this also includes guide dogs, hearing dogs, and registered assistance dogs. Although this area is off-limits, dogs are welcome in many other areas of the park.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available at Reception on a loan basis. We regret that wheelchairs from Landmark cannot be taken out in to the car parks. At this current time we do not have electric wheelchairs.

To use a toilet in safety and comfort you may need to be able to access a Changing Places Toilet (CPT), which has space and the right equipment a high adjustable changing bench, a peninsular toilet and a ceiling hoist. You can find more about the nearby facilities at ww.changing-places.org. The closest facilities to the park are Aviemore Primary School and Community Centre, Tiso Aviemore, Craig Maclean Leisure Centre Grantown on Spey, Caberfeidh Horizons Kingussie and various spaces in Inverness.

• You are able to give us at least three full days’ notice

Bring your wellies and a raincoat! Landmark Forest Adventure Park is still a great day out for the family in the rain, just make sure that you come suitably prepared. You can always take the opportunity to check out our indoor attractions when the weather is at its worst. Some favourites include the Bamboozeleum, Crazy Cabins and Butterfly House. The latter has the added advantage of being kept at a constant 28C.

The Forester’s Cafe offers shelter from the rain at lunchtime and there is also plenty of undercover seating areas outside the Pinewood Grill.

If you have booked the wrong ticket types, but the correct number of overall tickets, don’t fret. This is something that the Admission Team can fix for you when you arrive at Reception. Please note that they may need to charge you for any differences in ticket price.

If there isn’t any more availability for your chosen day then it means that we are already at our maximum capacity and are unable to add any more tickets to your booking.

We can guarantee you amazing activities, fantastic adventures and most of all, great value for money. The park is full of a great variety of attractions, which make it suitable for toddlers all the way up to teenagers and adults. We also have the Forester’s Cafe and Pinewood Grill onsite and offer group bookings the chance to add in meal deal to your order.

The best thing about Landmark Forest Adventure Park is the great variety of attractions that are suitable for a wide range of ages. We have both indoor and outdoor attractions which make a trip suitable in both good and bad weather! We are also one of the few places in the UK that can provide such great attraction within the setting of ancient pine forest and have coach parking, educational rates and catering facilities onsite.

We don’t have a LOtC Quality Badge, but we were voted the ‘Best Family Day Out’ by Visit Scotland and the Daily Record. We have also recently one TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award – making us one of the Top 10 Adventure Parks in the UK and taking us into the top 1% of visitor attractions worldwide.

A typical visit to Landmark Forest Adventure Park would start off with a bus pulling into one of our coach parking spaces in the car park. Being a pre-booked group, the visit would then include a ‘Meet & Greet’ as well as fast-track entry into the park. The park is normally open from 10am-5pm, but this does vary slightly throughout the year. If the group has opted to add-on some catering options then this would also be served in one of our outlets at the arranged time.

Due to the size of the park we are able to accommodate a wide variety of group sizes, each with their own price-points.

We are keen to help groups throughout every stage of their booking, so can help them organize an assessment visit or will provide them with any supporting documentation that makes things easier for them.

No specific clothing is required for a day to Landmark Forest Adventure Park, but as many of the attractions are outside we would recommend that visitors come to the park suitably dressed for the weather. Those who wish to take part in the many climbing activities the park has to offer must refrain from wearing open toe shoes.

We have first aid trained staff at times when the park is open. If you or a party member need first aid, please inform any member of our staff and they will ensure the closest first aider gets to you.
