Landmark Top Tips
Unsure how to prepare for the forecast weather? Read our top tips…
- Perfect conditions for a visit to the park
- A rare sight in the Scottish Highlands
- The park tends to be busiest when the weather is like this.
- Top tip – the park gets quieter in the afternoons if you stay later then you can benefit from shorter wait times for some of the attractions.
- Not bad for Scotland
- Not too hot or busy but you don’t have to endure the rain.
- We don’t expect it to be too busy.
- Maybe the best conditions for visiting.
- Perfect conditions for anyone wishing to avoid queuing as visitors tend to visit on good weather days.
- We see the park much quieter on these wetter days.
- Come prepared and take advantage of having the park to yourself.
- If you want to leave waterproofs in the vehicle you are free to come and go out of the park as many times as you want.
- Who doesn’t love a family day in the snow?
- It’s very rare that the park closes due to snow as we are used to it living in the highlands.
- Feel free to warm yourself beside our log-burning stove in the Foresters café.
- A good opportunity to explore our indoor attractions.
- At least it’s not raining!
- Heavy clouds might not help with the lighting of your family photos, but these conditions don’t get in the way of the fun at the attractions.
- These conditions can sometimes make for interesting cloud-spotting opportunities – make your way to the fire tower.
- Make sure you come prepared, and you can collect any items from your vehicle.
- There are plenty of areas to go to during a thunderstorm including our indoor attractions shop or café.
- It is very rare that we must close attractions due to thunder and lightning, but we may close taller structures for a short time during the heaviest of thunderstorms.
Carrbridge Weather
Great weather is always a bonus, but it’s no longer essential for a visit to Landmark. With more covered areas than ever, you’re never far from shelter on those rainy days. We recommend bringing light waterproofs — just in case a passing shower tries to interrupt the fun.
