- Adults are those aged 15 years and over.
- Children are aged between 4 and 14 years inclusive. Under 3’s are completely free.

- No child or children under the age of 15 will be admitted into the Park unless they are accompanied by an adult, who shall be 18 years or over.

We have now compiled a list of your most frequently asked questions to give you an idea of what to expect if you’re planning a visit to the park now that we’re re-open. If you have a question not covered below, please feel free to drop us an email at email@example.com.
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Do we need to book park tickets in advance?
Yes, visitors are required to book their tickets online in advance. Season Ticket holders and those with other types of pre-paid tickets can also book a free ticket when they wish to visit. This can be done via our booking system.
All tickets are date specific and non-transferrable.
- Do visitors still need to socially distance?
In line with Government regulations, we have recently re-introduced 1m social-distancing between groups in all indoor areas.We are also still recommending visitors not to enter crowded areas indoors and will continue to limit the number of people in the park to reduce the potential risk of crowding.
- Will I need to wear a face covering?
Visitors are still required to wear face coverings whilst in any of our indoor areas. We are also asking visitors to wear a face covering when in queues (indoor or outdoors) when they may be closer to other visitors.
Please bear in mind that some of our attractions are indoors (such as the Tropical Hot House and Bamboozeleum), so please make sure that you bring a face covering with you on the day of your visit. If you do not have a face covering, then you will not be able to access the areas of the park where is it mandatory to wear one.
Under 12’s are exempt from wearing face coverings. You can find out more about exemptions on the government website. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, then you can pick up a sticker upon arrival (optional) which will make this clear to all members of staff.
- Are you limiting visitor numbers?
Yes, visitor numbers are currently limited via our online booking system in order to reduce the risk of crowding onsite. Our capacity remains under constant review, so is subject to change if we feel like it is necessary or appropriate to do so.
In order to control visitor numbers, please note that visitors will not be able to visit the restaurant or shop without a ticket between the 26th of December and 9th January.
- What attractions will be open?
During the winter months our main attractions are The Tropical Hot-House, Dinosaur Kingdom, Wonder Woods and Bamboozeleum. Other attractions may also be open if weather conditions allow. Click here to see our full list of attractions!
- Do you still have hand sanitisers onsite?
Yes, we currently have dozens of hand sanitising stations scattered throughout the park. We have over 400 gallons of sanitiser onsite, so are well stocked up and have plenty available for visitors to use over the course of their visit. All our normal toilet facilities are also fully open.
- Are the toilet facilities open?
Yes, all of our normal toilet facilites are fully open. You can find these facilities in the main gift shop near Bamboozeleum, beside Xplore Store and some behind the Doughnut Shack.
- What are you doing for season ticket holders?
We have extended the validity of all current Season Tickets and Season Ticket Gift Cards up until the 30th of April 2022. When these passes and gift cards expire, they will have been valid for a total of 28 months, despite the park only being closed for 7 of these.
Season Ticket holders are required to book a free ticket when they wish to visit. This can be done through the online booking system. Please note that you will still be required to present your season ticket upon arrival. Please let us know if your plans change so that we can release more tickets for other visitors.
Please be aware that if your child no longer qualifies for a free ticket (IE – is under 2 years old) then you will need to pay for a new ticket upon arrival.
We are unable to offer the Fast Track entry for season ticket holders at present. We have however introduced a new ticketing system which allows us to get people into the park much quicker than ever before.
- What additional cleaning measures are in place?
We have invested in lots of additional cleaning equipment, such as a brand new fogger machine, which will help us sanitise areas of the park much more effectively and efficiently. Staff are also working towards much stricter cleaning schedules.
